Question: I see your company is based in Shropshire, I live in London, what area does your company cover?

Answer: Generally we cover Shropshire and the bordering counties but we have worked much further afield, this would depend on the size of the project in question and also the financial viability for both parties. We would ask you to contact us directly for further consultation.

Question: What types of projects do you undertake, is it just domestic building work you do?

Answer: No we don’t just look for domestic building work, we have in the past worked on large commercial projects, schools, healthcare buildings and many others including industrial sites and leisure facilities.

Question: Do you have public liability insurance?

Answer: Yes we have full public, employer & product liability insurance valued to cover all projects we undertake.

Question: Is your company a member of a professional trading board or association?

Answer: Yes, we are a member of the HBA (House Builders Association), the NFB (National Federation of Builders) and the Shropshire Telford & Wrekin trader register.

Question: Can you provide me with references for work you have carried out and can I visit a completed project to see for myself?

Answer: Yes we are happy to provide references for our work, and upon contact we can arrange for a suitable site visit so you may see our work in relation to your proposed project.

Question: I’m considering the possibility of building a new bungalow, can you provide me with an estimate?

Answer: We can provide you with a rough typical cost based on the total floor area of the development, but we would advise that this may vary greatly from a more ‘fine tuned’ and accurate estimate which would be subject to approved drawings and specifications. We do also provide a ‘design & build’ service.

Question: I am interested in hiring your firm to convert an old out building into holiday let apartments, however I am on a tight budget and would hope to save money by project managing & sourcing materials myself. Is that okay?

Answer: We understand that it can sometimes be a saving if you intend to take on the management of a project yourself, and we would endeavor to support you, however we would suggest that often this approach can lead to spending more than necessary, either through lack of development or management experience which can lead to delays or mistakes, or simply because it is unlikely that materials bought privately can be sourced as competitively as through the trade.

Question: You list ‘Design & Build’ as one of your services. I have outline planning for several new properties but so far I have gone no further. Can you help at this stage?

Answer: Yes, we have a design team with over forty years professional experience, so we are well placed to assist in developing your ideas for the project. We can produce all the necessary drawings for submission to gain full planning approval and liaise with relevant service departments before our work starts on site.

Question: I have planning permission for a new extension on my house but no building regulations approval, I am keen to get started, can your company offer assistance in this area?

Answer: Yes, because we have our own professional design team, we can if required produce all the building regulations drawings and related documents for submission to the local authority.
